I have been waiting 3 years to experience Acadia National Park during peak fall foliage and oh man, it did not disappoint. Acadia National Park is located about 3 hours north of Portland, Maine near Bar Harbor. The park spans over a few different islands, some only accessible by ferry. The main part of the park where most people visit is on Mount Desert Island. It’s filled with endless hiking trails and beautiful scenic drives.
You may think that because you’re eloping, you don’t need to hire a planner. Well my friend…I am here to tell you why you really, really NEED to. Good elopement planners do much more than make things look pretty – they get down and dirty in order to make your day more enjoyable, comfortable, and fun!
Earlier this month, I had the privilege of attending and styling one of the desert styled shoots for the Straight Up Academy Workshop in Sedona, Arizona. The Straight Up Academy is the perfect combination of intense education and fun filled community building. For those in the creative industry who are serious about learning practical skills to grow and improve your business, this workshop is for you!
Woohoo – congratulations on your engagement! Take the time to celebrate with your friends + family during one of the most important times in your life. Anywhere from a nice dinner at your favorite restaurant to a cookout in the backyard of the house you grew up in. Celebrating with the special people in your life is a great way to include them in a moment they’ve most likely been looking forward to since you were born! The planning process is filled with tough decisions that are mostly made between you and your fiancé [no matter how many people may want to share their opinions]. So, pop open a bottle of champagne, feast on your favorite desserts, + dance out your excitement!
These two recently celebrated their 5 year anniversary and decided to commemorate the milestone with the sweetest sunrise vow renewal at the Supreme Court in Washington, D.C. It was less a “recommitment” of their love, more of a celebration of their love and how far they’ve come together!
The first time I saw the Utah Bonneville Salt Flats, I was immediately drawn to its stunning simplicity. A clean slate to create. The stars and moon are so iconic there that I wanted to bring the edgy, celestial vibes throughout the day.
Madison and Paul are truly one of the sweetest couples I’ve ever met. The love they have for each other is joyful, steadfast, and fun filled. While I have had the pleasure of knowing them for the last year to year and a half, their love story began many years ago back in high school.
While running around the field in joyful celebration [and also to try and stay warm], deer came out of the trees to come celebrate with us ha! They got so close we could almost touch them. Since it was SO COLD, we gave the happy couple hand warmers and wrapped them in blankets in between shots. The were such troopers!
